    Remco Monsters At Home!

    Finally finished my set!

I was just about ready to give up any hope of finding the three I was missing then found Frank, Drac, and Creature still sealed on cut down cardbacks.

GREAT find! Those are sooo weird and wonderful. Your pics really show off the unique details of each "coffin".

I'm a little surprised they used three different toolings for the "homes"/coffins/....refrigerators?

One would normally expect a cost-cutting measure of using the same shape for all. Interesting!

They look so nice! Are the differences in Drac's and Frank's skin tones from the lighting or molding? My 9" figures are a bit different.

As Treadwell mentioned, I like the unique sarcophagus shape for the Mummy.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

I've said it elsewhere, but I love how the monsters seem to be imposed upon, saying "do you MIND?" while closing the door.

Probably from the lighting Scott. On an interesting side note, under a black light, the faces on the Mummy and Creature glow green while Dracula and Frankenstein glow blue!

Is Creech coming out of a steamer trunk?

Seriously, these are pretty cool. It seems like Remco tried to do with the monsters what Mego kept trying with WGSH's- find creative ways to extend the license.

Wicked! Your photography really makes the toys pop.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

On the card they refer to it as a "sea chest" which makes sense.

These are really amazing, cool pics for both regular and glow in the dark, I think the blue lighted look is sweet.
Did they make these for the Wolfman and Phantom of the Opera?
