Traveling Hulk Hits The Road Again... The Silk Road (WARNING- Lots o pics)

Hulk headed home in a way, taking a couple weeks in China. (He's really from Hong Kong back when it was a British colony, so I'm not sure you can say he came from China.) Four stops on this trip starting off in Beijing. He then headed off to Xi'an, a cruise along the Yangtze River and then ending up in Shanghai. He was greeted warmly by the Chinese. The Avengers are, like everywhere else in the world, are plastered everywhere.

A quick thanks to Paul Clare for inspiring this and Derek Richardson for providing a relief Hulk a few years back.

Gotta start with a climb up the Great Wall, well a chair lift up.

Outside one of the many pagodas at the Summer Palace in Beijing. This place was used by the dowager of the last emperor of China. She would've made an excellent villian.

One of the many lions guarding the bridge. At least I think its a lion.

    Props to a DC rival.

It may be China, but certain things transcend national boundaries.

Of course, Hulk had to lead the most famous bunch of action figures in China, the Terra Cotta Warriors. Famous yes, but their articulation is not even as good as the Sunshine Family.

    Leading the troops.

Small Goose Pagoda outside the city walls of Xi'an.

    The South Gate into Xi'an

    Hulk vs Kaiju!!

Entering the Gates of Hell! Or at least the gate to the Temple of the Gates of Hell at the Fengdu, the Ghost City.

Even the Guards of the Gates of Hell fear the Hulk!

About to set off on his Yangtze River cruise.

A quick side trip down the Shennv Stream

    Welcome to Shanghai

Hulk raging over the fact that he didn't get his own store.

    Winding through Shanghai's Old Town

This guy in the back would NOT get off his cell phone for the picture

    More Old Town

One last goodbye to a new friend in Shanghai, Boxing Cat
