Though this wasn't picked up for series, didn't another version of this get made? I don't think it was called Genesis III or anything, but I thought Rodenberry tried this whole roaming around a post-apocalyptic world a couple times.

I wondered why Phillip Francis Farmer didn't sue Roddenberry for ripping off Armageddon 2149, the Buck Rogers novel from the 1960s. Genesis 2 wasn't exactly an original concept.
