    Lon Chaney Mummy

I am posting this here because the monster collectors would know more about this:

When looking online for Lon Chaney Mummy figures or statues I ran across this:
    Lon Chaney statue.jpg

I great Lon Chaney Mummy statue that comes with the tana leaves pot. I really need just the tana leaves pot to finish my display:

but the head of Lon Chaney's Mummy would be a great to cast for a ReMego.

Was this available or was this a custom model/statue??

I have an Aurora reissue Mummy (Kharis) model head that I'm planning to put on the new MegoCorp mummy.

I'm not familiar with the statue--I'll bet member enyawd72 is--but I like it.

I’m still hoping we see a mego head in Lon Chaney’s likeness for a Larry Talbot

A MEGO scale Chaney mummy head would be great.

That's a 1/6 scale resin kit sculpted by Jeff Yagher and produced by X-O Facto...long out of production.

I have one in my collection of Mummy kits.

Escape Hatch Hobbies sells resin replacement heads for the Aurora monster models that are in scale with Mego.

Those look good but are kind of pricey.

Well, they cost more than a simple head shrink. Since they're originals, there is a sculptor involved, plus mold making and casting. and then they don't sell that many so...

I know I have close to $500 invested in an original sculpted head before I ever sell a single one.

My last project I sold three units.

Sorry. I wasn't thinking that they had to start from scratch with the heads.
