My first thoughts after seeing it this afternoon:

    1) More Billy Dee Williams
    2) More Artoo Detoo

I enjoyed it, felt good coming out of the theatre.
It's a bit too action-packed for me, could use with some calmer scenes, but we are getting a 192 minute cut, which sounds like it will have all of these restored.
But I am happy the way it ended.

Lots of internet chatter about it. There's supposedly a 192 minute cut of the film. It may be released theatrically to get more money.

While it won't get my butt back into the theatre, I am really curious about an "Abrams cut" hopefully it interjects a few calmer moments.

I really enjoyed the movie as is, but I'd be down for more of it.

I hate these scams of directors cuts, etc. after the fact....just another ploy to suck further money outta people.

I'd go see it if they add even 20 more minutes, but wow 50 more is like another movie being added.

Personally I am salivating. Loved the film, and I want more. I've seen it 4 times, and could use a good excuse to see it more.

if a movie I love announces they are releasing a directors cut on disc, I don't buy the regular version and just wait for the extended, so it's not more money out of my pocket

As if there's ever been a motive other than that for any franchise that essentially keeps churning out the same product over and over?

I only want to see one movie released with original theatrical release, director’s cut, alternate endings, bonus scenes, etc...

                            Wonder Woman...

Cinema hucksters have been up to all sorts of tactics to get butts in seats since the dawn of film. William Castle of course had his own gimmicks. Then you have 3D, or IMAX, or a dinner and Beer with your movie. Now, it's extended cuts and bonus scenes.

I think we can all agree that if the Cinematic experience is to survive into this century, movie lovers should make some kind of effort to support what they like by, you know, going to the movies.
