Capshield Marvel Comics Little Plastic Army Men

We need a name for the scale. Anyway...looking likebthe Marx and Gulliver figures from days of old...Walgreen's has buckets of Avengers figures in the Army Man scale. Some diorama pieces. 6.99 but if you buy 2 you get a third one free. Not terrible. Can't say a lot about the figures as the bucket itself is a transparent red color. What I could see looked comic style not movie style.

^Oh man, those type of things are my jam. Might be the "Handful of Heroes" figures reissues again, but worth checking out. Thanks for the head's up!

I just found a 'Handful of Heroes' checklist insert while cleaning up my kid's library the other days, prompting a search for any remaining heroes. Sadly, we couldn't find any of them and figured we must have passed them on to family and friends. Those were awesome pocket companions for many road trips, tho.

You can get a little better/closer look at the figures from this Amazon listing (which is significantly more expensive than the $6.99 at Walgreens...just including so you can see what the figures look like).

Yea that be them. That bucket is really hard to photograph thru. Ok I'm impressed with the 200 percent markup.

There is a name for this type of figure. They are called Monofigures.
Looking for Iron Man Belt, Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Fever J, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman)

    Those are cool.

I could have many adventures with those Avengers figures.

Have them crossover onto playsets like Marx forts and Navarone Mountain.

Knights and cowboys and Indians and firemen and so forth. Great with the Simms Batmonile or the Ideal Batcave.

They work for soldiers or knights and stuff, but not so much for superheroes...isn't it a bit weird, having multiples of Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, etc...?
