CRT is better looking than LCD.

Don't take my word for it.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

CRT wasn't phased out because LCD was a better tech. CRT was phased out because LCD is a cheaper tech.

Plasma sets have MUCH richer picture quality than LCD. MY 15 year old Pioneer plasma finally crapped out last week and I am lamenting the loss in picture quality.

The Samsung QLED that I have is very good. I’ve been quite impressed with it over the past year.
