    Farmers Insurence and Sesame Street

Just seeing Grover in the ad makes it worth it. It's pretty much like the restaurant skits they have him in on Sesame Street except he's suppose to be a repairman. Bert just hanging out with J.K. Simmons at the end is just icing.

Fun! Wow, it’s become apparent that 1969 was a helluva year.

Those are awesome. Yes, 1969 was one heckuva year for series that have stood the test of time like Sesame Street and Scooby-Doo.

Including the moon landing, Woodstock, Manson Family murders, Chappaquidick incident, the Stonewall Riots and the Zodiac Killer saga began, etc...(at the moment I’m blanking on some other big things that happened in 1969)

Recently, there was a little back and forth in a thread about Henson's Muppet commercials back in the late 50s/early 60s. I immediately thought about the old commercials when I saw the Sesame Street one for Farmers Insurance.

^Yeah, I think I started that one after watching a great YouTube series on Jim Henson on Defunct TV. Those Wilkins guys needed insurance!!!
