What ReMego figures, in your opinion, are Better than Mego?
I know, this can be a controversial topic. But your answer can be a figure Mego never did, something that improved on Mego, or even a custom that used non Mego parts to improve the original Mego design.
This weekend I picked up FTC's 7" Robin figure, and I feel it improves on Mego's offerings in every way. The face sculpt is very Neal Adams. And it actually LOOKS like Robin in the Silver and Bronze age. The tunic is far better than Mego's efforts, and the cape has wires in it for poseability. Finally, he has the molded gloves the other Titans had, which look way better than the mitts.
This is the Robin Mego SHOULD have made when they released the Titans. Mego absolutely improved their figures throughout the line, but I'm not sure how much of that was just necessity due to material costs, and how much of it was out of a genuine desire to deliver a better product, but this Robin is he Robin we deserve.
All of that, and it doesn't look out of place hext to genuine Megos. Say what you will about early FTC, but they actually DID improve, and while I still think they're waaaaay too expensive, they do deliver a quality figure. Fortunately, I only paid $10 for ol' Dick here.
