Wow, interesting! Eddie Paskey got a jump on George Takei while the later was stuck filming John Wayne's troubled "The Green Berets" for like a season and a half or something.

Eddie Paskey was not only the go-to do-all man but he was/is also one of Shatner's closest friends

He did a lot of behinds the scenes stuff too --- like driving the car that killed Joan Collins

shame he left during the 3rd season out of boredom -- hard to believe considering he did EVERYTHING

I'm not sure about this, but didn't Paskey also double for Shatner in some stunt scenes?

Yes, he wasn't in the last 17 episodes. It's funny, I never noticed that until you mentioned it and I checked Memory Alpha.

Funny you mention this. I just started an Eddie Paskey project last week. I too thought he left due to injury - I saw a quote from him to that effect. And didn't he play a completely different dude in one of the Mudd episodes?

I've been working my way through the episodes during some down time, and one thing that has struck me is that the blue shirts and gold shirts have a really high mortality rate just like the red shirts.

I know Trappy has an army of Star Trek TOS customers. Does he have all of these characters?

I remember reading or hearing Paskey left because he was bored of mostly having no dialog … To me, being in every episode of Star Trek and never having to memorize a script would be a dream job
