    Another interesting idea

I would love to see Mego Corporation produce a line of 8" figures based off WKRP in Cincinnati... the original series, not the new one from the early 1990s. Think about all the great characters we could get if they could get the likeness rights to all the main cast members. Who wouldn't want a Dr. Johnny Fever, Venus Flytrap and Arthur "Big Guy" Carlson along with all the others? It would be a license to print money!

I would love a Less Nessman figure.

While many of us here love WKRP (myself included), I don’t see Mego Corp going down this road. Honestly, I don’t think WKRP figures/dolls are the money maker you may think they would be.

I beg to differ... Those characters were born to be made into the Mego style... even if they were limited edition exclusives or something, they would be awesome.

Herb Tarlek's wardrobe alone would be nothing less than splendid.

I'd buy every one, but you know they'd do three and quit.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

I’d buy a Johnny Fever, but I don’t think the line has enough legs to justify 10,000 figures.

It fits with the terrible choices they had for Target, but WKRP has become a very forgotten show, largely because of music rights not allowing proper distribution in the years since. But even if they did it, it's definitely not a license to print money.

OK, what about a 'Welcome Back, Kotter' line?

I’d guess about the same as WKRP.

'KRP and Kotter are just as memorable as The Facts of Life and that show got some recent Mego figures.

and those languished on the shelves while Kiss, Trek and Monsters sold.

The Facts of Life, along with Cheers, Happy Days, etc., were not big sellers. I agree that WKRP and Kotter are on par with Facts of Life and therefore wouldn’t be a big seller either.

Great show but, yeah, the figures would not sell.

Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house.
