    Joker - Final Trailer

If the story matches the tone, then this is a whole higher level.

This looks like its spreading out from the 'King of Comedy' plot as opposed to the original trailer that looked very similar to that film. And while I know this is not supposed to be the Batman arch-nemesis, he does look like he's trying to spread chaos like the Joker we know. This looks really psychologically dark. So much so, I think I need to go on not only removing any Joker-I-know expectations but also removing any genre expectations. I think this is not a superhero movie.

What do you mean this isn't the Joker from Batman? What other Joker is there? I just thought this is pre-Batman. Thomas Wayne is in it, etc.

From what I've read, this is not the Joker we know and love. It is in the Batman universe, but it may be some kind of proto-Joker or (speculatively) an inspiration to the character we will know later. At least, this is some of the rumors going around the interwebs.

Think of it as an Elseworld where Bruce Wayne was never born.

Reviews are coming in. It wish it opened next week.

Anticipation for a Batman sequel is going to be off the charts.

I’m sure a lot of folks love this but to me it looks like a big steaming pile of horse crap. I have zero interest in watching this. Nothing about this appeals to my love for The character.

I was initially skeptical but now am compelled to see this based on the reviews and buzz.

I rarely go to the movie theater these days...but Joker might break this pattern for now...

Yes, it's a grim and unrelentingly bleak movie.
And damn it... It made me want to see more of this incarnation of the Joker.
