What is your favorite/most versatile Mego head for customs?

What Mego head do you like the most for customs?

For example, Mr. Leitner's is perhaps Mr. Fantastic.

For me, it's Galahad/Will Scarlet. I've used it for four customs:

    *Dr. Jekyll
    *Billy the Kid
    *Dr. Bruce Banner
    *Dr. Otto Hasslein (POTA)

As a kid, I think I would have tried it as Green Lantern, too.

For me as a Kid it was Batman....Hourman, Daredevil, Signalman were ones I made at one point.

Since going back and 2.0 'ing a lot of my old customs, I'm finding I'm liking the following heads, maybe too much:
    * The Flash Gordon style head from 8inchsuperstore/kcs galloping gals
    * the Cowled head from 8inchsuperstore/kcs galloping gals
*The Romulan ( currently got 4 on deck for four different customs)
    and for females tied at
    *Kelley Garret / Kris Munroe

Trying hard to not reuse heads whenever possible, but not always....possible. lol

Brilliant adaptation!… seemingly difficult head to find too. I've been trying to steal you idea for a couple years now!

Well, I just happen to have yet another vintage one... I'll PM later.

It's perfect Hasslein. A gray suit, blue tie, and gun = all set.

I always tend to start off with an unmasked head regardless of whether the character is masked or not, so that somewhat limits the choices. For males it's Supes. The shape of the face is pretty much the perfect, classic bronze age hero look. Aquaman and Mr Fantastic come in second. For females, Supergirl, as there is no tiara you need to remove from the head. Isis is a better head. though, with the paint job on the eyes (makes her look a little older), but getting the tiara off is a pain.

So far? The Mego Major Nelson head...it looks nothing like Major Nelson to me, but it's generic enough that it can work for a number of other characters. It does look like Julian McMahon/Cole Turner from Charmed or a bit like Robin Dunne/Dr. Will Zimmerman from Sanctuary (both of whom I'm making customs of), etc...
