    My first Facebook Marketplace sale

I posted my Mustang wheel and tire set in both Facebook and Craigslist.

I only received one response from Craigslist. Facebook was the complete opposite...22 inquiries. It was a madhouse. I had a hard time choosing the right buyer. Finally picked one. He came with a buddy, and took them home.

    What does this all mean?

Craigslist is in BIG trouble. Facebook is going to devour them whole.

I have had some seriously spotty luck with FB and the marketplace. My local area does not really support Craigslist, tho, so the only options are the online classifieds from the local community website, and FB. Both are equally sketchy, and I always try to meet up in a public space for whatever transaction is going on.

That was my very first Facebook sales transaction.

I’ve been doing Craigslist for years. Aside from a couple of flakes here and there, never had a problem with anyone.

I've had success selling furniture and equipment. But I haven't tried selling toys or comics. I guess it would have to be worth my while, I don't need weirdos dropping by the house to pick up a $5 Batman returns figure .
