I like the idea of this set but not the execution. Hasbro classic Collection did a nice Yeti--12" plush--and I paired it with a GIJ 40th-style custom Joe.

I'm very pleased with the pair and echoed VintageJoe70's suggestion on the gear.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Wasnt the 40th yeti a plush bendy? Basically an extra fluffy pipe cleaner?

I wouldn't argue with any criticism a person wanted to make, but I love GI Joe so much that it's hard for me to pick anything apart. My feeling is, "He has binoculars and that Yeti is at a distance".

              Yes they did:

The GI Joe collectors club repurposed it too and made a bigfoot/sasquatch out of the same figure by using brown fur instead of white. It was probably one of the best con sets the club did:

The tent and sleeping bags in the picture were an add on set you could buy at the convention and did not come packed in the set.

Yes! I loved that Bigfoot set, I'm sorry I missed it.

Oh, the con sets were around $400 each on pre-order, ecch. I nabbed a few, some on sale.

The two I missed that I regret are Bigfoot and the Spy-shark.

Looks a little like the Star wars Potf2 12" Wampa

There was a guy doing 12 inch joe web stories. He had his 6th scale Wampa and New Yeti hook up at the end of the story.

My consolation is I do have the 12" plush Yeti. The timing just wasn't right for me to buy the convention set, and then a member here sold one at a good price and I still had to pass.

Yeah, while those sets are very nice, they’re quite expensive.

If I was a Joe collector I would pair Yeti with Snow Job. He's more in scale.
