    The Mystery Arm

Howdy All... A short time ago, I got a strange looking skeleton arm in a box lot of stuff. It's kinda like a GI Joe Atomic man arm, but way too small. I did some searching on the interwebs, and made comparisons with some of my action figures. I believe, I have a pre-production left arm for Cipsa - Kid Acero: "L HOMBRE BIONIC ARM" (AKA - "bionic Big Jim" ). I'm not able to upload pictures or attachments to the forum, so I uploaded detailed pictures to my web space instead. I'd really be interested to hear what some of the members here might know about this strange bionic relic. Pics are at: http://pestydragon.com/mego.htm

That looks like a Big Jim arm where the rubber "flesh" has rotted away. I've seen it once or twice before.

Hand certainly looks like big Jim. I wouldn't necessarily say it was for the 'visible' arm so much as it is the armature without the rubber flesh casing. Pretty cool to see what goes into making the muscles work on those figures, nonetheless.

Yeah, that's just a limb with the rubber removed. Vintage Barbie legs are the same.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Is that the mechanism that made Jim's bicep bulge and break off the "metal" band?

Thanks for the quick replies... Mystery solved.... Now I have to come up with something creative to do with it. Big Jim does need a new desk lamp.
