In my mind, Star Wars should always be played with at 3-3/4" scale, while Star Trek (Original Series and its movies, anyway) should always be played with at 8" scale. These new TWOK figures are exactly what we dreamed they should be.

Look what happens when you aren't allowed to play with "dolls"...

WANTED: partly-unsealed or bubble-damaged carded Romulan + unbroken plant trap from Mission to Gamma VI

The move line could really have legs, with a lot of room for exclusives, which toy companies seem to love. This could be a huge line for Mego, as there just isn't much WOK stuff out there.

The one problem with that is it would have legs with us old geeks. Young kids think Cumberbatch is Khan :puke:

True on both points. But us old geeks are likely the ones buying the new Mego products anyway.

And I like Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange. But as Khan...lordy no.

I keep telling myself that Cumberbatch was Joachim running around masquerading as Khan. It would have been such a great cliffhanger ending had after we saw Cumberbatch tucked back in for a cryogenic nap that the camera ventured slightly left and back a few rows to another canister and as we look into the glass we see Ricardo Montalban’s face as he appeared in Space Seed.

In the latest photos of the Kirk figure it looks like it's wearing a uniform belt and an equipment belt. In the photo of the Spock and Kirk figures it looks like they are wearing one belt.

are the legs the usual Trek molded boots or are they different since they have long pants?

Good question. I assumed it would be the Trek legs with gathered trouser-hems.

But some of us would still like to see 3 1/4" versions

Of the Wrath of Khan figures? Okay, but only if they make them in the style of the Star Trek: The Motion Picture Mego figures and Star Trek III ERTL figures. Just to fill in that missing gap.

These do look fantastic! I hope they manage to make as many characters as DST's 7" figure line.
