Does the Wicked Witch have a different head sculpt than the classic Mego version? Or does she look different because she is a different shade of green?

I thought so, too. I like it, but the rooting/hairstyle is really off.

I'm not too sure it's a different sculpt. I don't have access to an original right now, to compare, but looking at pictures, they look like the same. Paint is different, but the facial features look the same. The heads look totally different, but I don't think they are. I could be wrong, but I'll try to find one in my storage unit to compare.

Shouldn't be noticeable if you put the hat on. (Actually, I wonder if maybe the rooting is to better fit the hat.) But I agree that on the card she looks a little funny.

I think the color of the green and paint application are what make it look so different. The paint is not done well on the new witch. The hair job doesn't do it any favors, either. She's my least favorite new Mego figure.

I picked up Jimi. Love the card. Wanted to convince myself I needed the first series one but between the card and the figure it just wasnt speaking to me.

These appear to be selling well. Jimi and Elvis are sold out. I just bought the last Jimi.

No mention of Amazon's famous, "More on the way soon," either, so I wonder if this is it, or if they will get a restock.

Amazon has a pretty large audience, so I am not surprised that these are gone now. I did like that flocked Jimi better than the first edition, but I am happy to have picked up the original. If they had packed the Strat in with that figure, it would have been perfect.
