Peter really looks great! In my opinion, Peter and Ace are the clear stand outs of the Mego Corp KISS figures. They’re so good, I’m not sure how well the Paul and Gene figures fit in with them.

Maybe they will release another version of Paul with a better star and lip paint. That would make him worthy, I think. Gene is pretty great, and I don't see what would be a complaint with him.

^ Maybe the sticking point with me on the Gene and Paul sculpts is the look of their sculpted hair. I also think that Paul’s face paint application is off. Also, I realize that Ace and Peter have sculpted hair, as well...I just think it looks much better.

I'm surprised how much that sculpt/paint job actually looks like Peter Criss and not just some generic head wearing the Catman makeup.

I like how they revamped the costume to make it look a little closer to the real thing. It stands apart from the original version and the subsequent CTVT releases.

I don't have a problem with the Gene Simmons figure. Yeah the Paul figure got a raw deal. Mine even has a wonky left eye.
