    Toy-Ventures: Kung Fu Stuff!

Note: Warner Brothers doesn't like that i used the show intro in the video and has blocked it on mobile devices. Sorry.

Instead of looking at a single toy, I thought I'd share my collection of merchandise from the 1970s tv classic "Kung Fu". There wasn't a ton of merchandise for the show but there is plenty of neat stuff like lunchboxes, figurines, viewmasters, and even comics!

Snatch this pebble from my hand and join me on this toy-venture!

Fantastic! I love this merchandise, and it makes me want to delve into Kung Fu collecting.

And no Kung Fu: The Legend Continues follow ups?
      Hugh H. Davis

Wanted: Legends of the West (Empire & Excel) and other western historically-based figures. Send me an offer.
Also interested in figures based on literary characters.

I did actually like that show when it was originally on (it was filmed not far from where i lived at the time) but I don't think there is any merchandise that i know of. I even went to a "Mini-Con" for the show once, David Carradine had to leave though due to "personal" issues.

I, too, liked the follow up, although some of the episodes felt like retreads from The Master. The more supernatural episodes were fun (including a couple with Martin Kove as a "shadow assassin," and a few with Robert Vaughan and Patrick MacNee, two long-time favorites). Plus, they sent this Caine back in time to meet Cheyenne Bodie.

I seemed to have missed those episodes but i had fond memories of the show. I should revisit them.

Fun stuff! My dad and I watched Kung-Fu together as well. My Dad had a running gag about the show. When Master Po said "Snatch the pebbles from my hand and you may leave", my Dad would blurt out "Give me them rocks old man!"

Years later, In Living Color did the exact same joke in a skit with Jim Carrey as Caine!!!

This is a show that I always wanted to watch, but never really had an opportunity. Now that this article has intrigued me, I wouldn't even know where to go to watch some episodes.
Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figures

There are some great clips on Youtube but i think I heard that US Amazon prime has it. No such luck for me, I had to buy all the DVDs.
