Back in the day I used to like looking and playing with Spencers weird junk like wave machines, clicking ball thing, and realistic resin sculptures like a pouring beer mug.

Bought a Yellow Submarine cookie jar there once --- sold it for 4 times its price a few years later

Yes! They had the hippest clothes. When the Michael Jackson zipper craze came out all kids went there to get pants, shirts and jackets with all the zippers. Netted shirts made of polyester. In a sense what West Coast break dancers wore.
They had the thriller jacket knockoff there and wanted that so bad. Wasn't leather but polycotton. Never got it.

I can't believe I forgot Hill's. I was always going to one of the ones in Syracuse as a teen.

I only listed stores that were attached to the mall. Outparcel stores like Hills, Bradlees, Zayre, Toys R Us, and Children's Palace were not listed as they were not under the same roof as the mall proper.
Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figures

Great topic! My childhood 70's were spent outside, playing with Megos but once I hit middle school I spent so much of time at the Oxford Valley Mall!

                            Space Port (arcade)
                            Spencer's

The Gap (I worked there for most of high school)
                            Olga's
                            Orange Julius
                            WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.

Places like Hills and Bradlees were mall anchors. That's why I listed them. Hills was an anchor for Penn Can and Carousel in Syracuse NY and Salmon Run in Watertown NY. Bradlees was an anchor in Sangertown Square in New Hartford NY and Riverside Mall in Utica NY.
