Dunsel Trek Figures reunited

So many many years ago, when James, Dave and Paul were rolling out those Trek figures, I was doing backer cards at the same time, figured I would create the alphabet and do cards for them.

Fast forward several years and I broke my cardinal rule - I sold two customs from my personal collection and regretted it instantly.

Move ahead a few more years, and at this year's Mego Meet, I spy two carded Dunsels on a table.
Instantly I knew they were the two I sold - Orion and Salt Vampire.

Didn't take much haggling, and he threw in a loose Dunsel Gorn with a broken knee pin.

I am quite happy to have them back, and a spare Gorn too!

The Dunsel figures are my first love of custom Mego... and will always hold a very special place in my heart. I'm very happy you were reunited (and, if I'm being totally honest, also a tad jealous!).

So glad you got them back!! I did the same on a few customs I made. You take it for granted that you can get certain parts, or have time to re do them etc. But that is not always the case. Now I never sell anything from my personal collection. So glad you were able to reclaim yours.

Back at that time I was fortunate enough to get Kor, Khan and Marta Orion slave girl sculpts from Dunsel, and painted by Dave, I have them in custom art boxes from the Toyroom, and glad to hear you were reunited with yours, these are definitely some special pieces.
