    Spiderman and Thing

Curious, has anyone ever drawn the webbing in black on Spiderman's head and hands?
    Same goes for the Thing.

If so, I'd like to see some pix.

    Thanks!

I've been thinking of doing it to my Spidey head, but he's still a work-in-progress...I haven't quite got that far yet.

I remember seeing it on the forum multiple times. I've never done it myself though. Someone will have photos for sure.

The DST Spiderman had one original style and one black webbed Spiderman head.

I did this on an old Spidey that had lost the paints MEGO put around the eye's. Yeah... I quickly regretted it and got rid of it. I used one of those Fine-Line Paint Pens and the contrast between the old MEGO vinyl red and sharp black was too much. I think somebody did the old model making trick of applying a thin wash of black to the head and letting the wash settle into the webbing ruts. I think this works better as the black wash is more subtle.

I did it on a Thing as a kid and the ink eventually bled into the plastic.
