What was in the CastaWay Panel at Mego Meet 2019?

I saw it was on the agenda, what did David and Jason talk about?

I didn't get to attend the panel, so I'm really curious, too. Someone spill the beans already! Come on, we're dying here.

I've looked and PM'd David Lee twice. Still no answer there....

Dave was pretty wiped out after the show and I think he had to go right back to work. He also doesn't check in here that often. I wish I could tell what was said, but I couldn't attend the panel either. I know they're working on some stuff on the female side, and some Action Jackson stuff, but I don't know what was shared in the panel.

Dave talked about how he and Jason were back together as Cataway, but still working on separate projects as well. Dave is interested in moving forward with Action Jackson once the Target exclusivity is over, and is also excited about his Henshin X figures.

Jason showed the beautiful prototype, paint-master head for his Bettie Page figure, minus her hair. He also showed the Yvonne body he and his wife now own, with one of the Bettie outfits on it. He said they were going to steer away from cheesecake outfits for the most part due to the joints showing.

They both talked about dealing with Chinese factories, what they went through in the old days with losing their molds, etc.

That's how I remember it. I don't mean to step on anyone's toes, but I just thought I would fill the curious in until David or Jason stop by here.

                Thanks Earth 2 Chris.
I did get word from Dave that the Henshin X Cyborgs are going to be available in the 8inchsuperstore, so looking forward to that!!!

                  The panel was pretty cool.

No release date was given on Betty Page. When they got it right, was the emphasis.

They also mentioned they were putting out things trying to fill orders and realized their are several figures they don’t even have! And they would be glad to buy them off of a collector.

Their was also some kerflufle about a missing wallet and the jerk who returned it...
