    Casting materials?

I just happened across some of my old molds the other day. It's been about 8 years since I did any molding and casting and I'd just like to play around with the molds that I found. What is everyone using to cast these days? Last thing I was using was Smooth-On. Thanks for heading me in the right direction.

Smooth-On has the best stuff, in my opinion.

They have such a wide range of products and good customer service. There are other companies that do make specialty products (sculpture, architectural, etc.) that rival or exceed their quality, but for what most of us makers do, Smooth On is the go to. You'll find their products to be far more consistent/reliable than anything you'd buy in a craft/hobby store. You also need to consider type and quality of the molds and casts you want to make, which is where a more expensive product line pays dividends.

I used to use Alumilite 50/50 resin. Last year I discovered they now have a 50/50 plastic. Haven't had the chance to try it yet.
