I'd go buy some "cheap box" comics for the stories. There's a place where I might be able to get four hundred comics for a hundred bucks. -
I'd buy early bronze age Superman since they are cheap now. I've found VF issues of Jimmy Olsen and Superboy for $2 a pop as opposed to Neal Adams Batman issues that would $25 each for books from the same year.
My personal picks would be as many of the 1972 Marvel issues with the shadow box covers as $100 would get me.

Well since I just went to a local con today, this is what I spent my $100 on...
$2 each...
$30 for the pair (4th Silver Age Hawkman, 1st Bat Lash)
$5
$2 each...
$1 each...
$15 for the pair...
that's about $100...

Raid the 50 cent and $1 boxes for the so called "Hot" books that people are looking for these days that dealers/stores haven't taken the time to take out of those boxes. Buy whatever you can for $100 and flip in on Ebay to buy the book or books you really want with the profit you make from your $100 investment in the "Hot" Books. The comic book collecting has completely flipped on its head these days where speculators are taking over. I say give them their "15 Minutes Of Fame" hot book that will be a lot less after that movie comes out or TV series starts to tank for as much as you can get out of them. Sad to say that a lot of newer collectors don't read comics...it's investment for a lot of them these days. That's what I would do with the initial $100 and go from thereComment
