    Supermanlogo Superman Comic Books

    I Have these questions:
1)Will there ever be a comic book based on George reeves'superman tv show any time soon?
2)Will there ever be a comic book based on max Fleischer's 1941 superman cartoons any time soon?

I'd say probably not. Just a guess...

They did do the WW77 and Batman 66 series. The Reeves version could be fun or at least a guest appearance in a crossover.

It's probably a Colin Clive situation, there is no estate to deal with and they're afraid if they do something exploiting his likeness that some niece will pop up and sue.

DC could do anything they want with Fleischer Superman though.

You're right about that.DC should play it safe and do anything they want with the Fleischer superman.

Id love to see a Superman story set in the 30s/40s. That goes for Batman as well.

I want a not so powerful Superman.

I want this Supes...Faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than a locomotive! Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound!"

You can introduce a wider variety of villains with that version of Superman.

I saw this about 2 years ago and made color copies of the pages, and put it inside a blank notebook to make
    a comic book.

It's really a great story about the kidnapping of President Eisenhower and how Superman saves the day.
I wish we had more of these Reeves version Superman storylines.
