Horrible Day in Alabama Sports

This hasn't been a good weekend for the state of Alabama as far as football goes.

First, Alabama's own Bart Star passes away at 85. He was born right here in Montgomery, Alabamam played at Alabama and of course with the Green Bay Packers.

Then, the "Voice of the Auburn Tigers" Rod Bramblett and his wife Paula were killed in an automobile acciident right in Auburn. Their SUV was hit from behind by another SUV driven by a 16 year old.

The state in still in shock.

Please say a prayer for both families.

Bart Star was 85, good long life...especially for an athlete who played in a very tough physical sport.

But Rod Bramblett and his wife passing was tragic, both in their early 50s, obviously way too young...but the accident caused by some teen is what’s horrific.

My thoughts to their family, friends, co-workers, and fans.
