TOS is my first love, but I'm excited about this. I hope they don't worry too much about the Star Trek: Nemesis connection because it was a long time ago now, and it sucked anyway.

I love Picard, and I love Patrick Stewart... TNG is okay. A bit overrated to be honest. But, based on this alone, this seems to have a case of "the Dours." To be honest, it looks to be more serious and psychological than fun and adventurous. Nothing about this presentation makes me want to subscribe.

I'm just an aging guy who probably is just going to be content with the 79 TOS episodes and 22 Animated episodes.

So Picard is an old man tending his grapes and now and then tells a story of his past exploits.

          Been done before..
The commander tells about how he swept away a whole set of Indians at Fort Apache

Pretty much me too, I never got into TNG or the follow-ups, they changed the recipe and as hard as I tried, none of them took for me. Don't hate it but nothing comes close to TOS for me.

I like Patrick Stewart a whole bunch oddly enough, just not Picard.

From TNG onward, there is a sense of adventure that is missing. I actually like the TNG characters well enough, I just don't think they ever gave them enough exciting things to do. My opinion is as useless as anyone's, but I'd love to see a full cast TNG reunion helmed by... J.J. Abrams. I seriously think he could shake the stuffy out and bring out the joy in their personalities.

Old Picard is one thing. Old, Depressed Picard is another. This looks dull to me, but hey, congratulations for those to whom this is marketed.

I'll go back to my Red Shirts and Gorn fist fights now.

Modern Star Trek spends too much time and energy on the nuts and bolts of what they are doing.

I would LOVE to see Data try and explain "Tomorrow is Yesterday" where you can go back in time and beam a person on top of himself

Basil Exposition on time travel, "I suggest you don't worry about those things and just enjoy yourself

These are generally my opinions as well. I've been watching TNG lately and it hasn't aged well.

I'm intrigued by these trailers but certainly not enough to subscribe to them.

I cannot wait for this show. I have high expectations and seeing Riker and Picard with Troi, Data, semi-human Hugh, and the Borg. Good looking cast of newcomers as well. I'm stoked!!
I post in thy general direction!

It might be good. A little weird, but good.
The actors will probably see an increase in fans of them at the Star Trek Convention.

They will need some 'Picard' 8 x 10's of their characters in the same scene together.
