I have a stack of Pizazz somewhere, loved it as a kid. Surprised it didn't last longer, it was like People for kids.

I picked that book up last year at a show after someone had pointed it out on a classic comics forum I am a part of.

I have that cover framed behind the bar in my basement... it does sum up the 70s for me. When I'm down there (prob tonight!), I'll snap a photo!

Yeah, I was gonna mention that you don't really see Cap leering all that much, but there it is! Of course, if he were leering at the delectable Ms. Ronstadt (whom I had a HUGE crush on), it would be understandable, but if you follow his eyeline, looks more like he's leering at Doctor Strange! LOL! Perhaps he's just jealous of how well Stephen Strange is handling that "electric" guitar....
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Agreed. He was doing the kind of stuff back in the 70s that Alex Ross does now, but didn't get nearly the amount of praise for it.

The bass player is always envious of the guitarist

When I saw the title of this thread, I started scanning the memory banks for a cover. When I opened the thread, I thought... not gonna come up with a more 70's cover than that!

Although this Pizzazz cover it pretty darn close-

^Yeah. Has to be the worse Thor I've ever seen.

That's the same thinking though. Jam a bunch of cultural pop with Marvel Heroes into one image and pretend it makes sense.

I was stunned by the first one because there's so much I couldn't intake. Why is C-3PO in there, and on the drums?! What is Cap thinking. and why is he leering at Strange? And why is Strange the most porn-tastic version ever? Shouldn't it be Peter Hooten?
