    Carded Bend N Flex Cap

    Tough one to find, nice second issue card.

    It's amazing how closely some (not all) of the Bend N Flex figures resemble their 8-inch counterparts.

    They are fun figures. Mego made them look great! I remember having some of these types of figures in the 70s, though I can’t say if I had any of Mego’s version.

    Bendie Cap has an advantage over regular 8" Cap: Red gloves! No white half-sleeves, but at least its a start.

    I love his Play-Dough shield though. So charming!

    I've always though the Bend-N-Flex Batman has a very Adam Westy vibe about him.

    Gene Salamancha sculpted a number of the first Bend N Flex and eight inch figure heads, so, naturally, many look alike. He seems to have had quite the talent at recasting and shrinking, so they may litteraly versions of the same sculpt.

    Indeed he does. It's amazing how close we seem to have gotten to Batman '66 figures before Mego turned a different direction. Just imagine...
