    MAXx FX Alien prototype

I apologize if I posted this in the wrong section. I am a new member.
Not truly a Mego figure, but rather a Match Box prototype. Although, the torso, and limbs are Mego. Unproduced prototype for MAXx FX Alien, from Mel Birnkrant.

Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! The documentation really tells the perfect story, and your display is so well done. This must be the pride and joy of your collection.

Beautiful creatures! These prototypes were ahead of their time. I can imagine these selling really well today if the price point was right.
I post in thy general direction!

Yep, sadly that was it, Maxx with the Freddy suit box set is all we saw.

I like the bulky, clunky look of the figure (a necessity as it is a costume) it makes it looks quite different from other Alien "Big Chap" figures.

Thanks everyone. I collect Alien prototype toys, and this is one that I absolutely love. I love the story behind him. And I love his look. I got to know Mel quite well also, which makes me appreciate the piece, and the unproduced line, as a whole, that much more. He's an incredible gentleman.
