Phraseology aside, I "identify with" my collecting community, Star Trek fandom an philosophy, the LGBT community, my faith & church, my political party. But, would you use that phrase in conversation when explaining what your interests are? Or would you say "I'm part of...", "I enjoy...", "My main interests are..."?Comment

I might say any of those things, including "identify with."
