The 12 inch Super Friends at Long Last!!!

At long last!!! After years of wishing for this, I finally have the Mego Super Friends in 12 inch form. I had the Mego Magnetic Batman and Robin when I was a kid, and the 12 inch
Wonder Woman, but eventually broke and I foolishly sold Batman and Robin in 1989, which I shouldn't have done. I acquired the Superman movie figure at a collectibles shop, Wonder Woman I reacquired on ebay. The seller had painted her to resemble Lynda Carter. I recently managed to reacquire the Magnetic Batman and Robin. Since Mego never made a 12 inch Aquaman, the 12 inch Aquaman by Figures Toy Company will do. You know, I'm *really* loving how well Aquaman fits right in! Did you put him on an original 12.5" Mego body? Because I thought the FTC ones were a bit shorter (taller than the original 9.5" ones, but shorter than the 12.5" ones).

Pretty neat! I really like all of Mego’s 12 superheroes...I especially like the vintage ones.

I’ve gotten a Aquaman, Shazam, Flash, Riddler and Joker in 12 inch and can’t love them more.

I would’ve been over the moon as a kid for these big guys. Joker might be my favourite one.

Hoping they make more. They fit right in with my childhood ones.

You know, I'm *really* loving how well Aquaman fits right in! Did you put him on an original 12.5" Mego body? Because I thought the FTC ones were a bit shorter (taller than the original 9.5" ones, but shorter than the 12.5" ones).

NO I didn't. I would have loved to have done that, but I don't know if the FTC suit would have fit on that 12 inch muscular body. OIf Mego could have made a 12 inch Aquaman, I could have imagined that same body they used for the Superman movie figure and Magnetic Batman. A better head sculpted, the body suit being the same color as the 8 inch figure, green hands and green gauntlets. It would be neat if that kind of custom could be made.
