Did you catch Rob's Podcast talking to one of the producers? Fascinating stuff.

OK. I had no idea about Video Comics! Thanks for the post, Pali!

It feels like Video Comics is that missing piece connection early Marvel/DC animation and Power Records.

I intended to skip forward here and there to just get the gist of the episode, but wound up watching the whole thing. Interesting looking back like that from today's perspective. Definitely like how he pointed out that what can be done quickly and cheaply by almost anyone (and on their own) today used to take time, special equipment, a studio, and a team of talent even if it was considered a "cheap" and "quick" production in its day.

I vaguely recall this show, but with cheesy '60s The Flash comics, not Swamp Thing.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

The amount of comic books that were aired was amazing. I wish these were included onto the DC Universe. As an video archivist I would geek-out at rewatching these.

I listened to Rob's podcast about this, really great. Fun tidbits like Larry Hama being involved for no other reason than he was a friend.

Did The New Teen Titans ever get read aloud on this thing?
