From CTVT: Steve Trevor head, red bodysuit, black super-boots. From Dr. Mego: black Mr. F gloves, Andorian belt. Only real custom part is the black pleather piece on the chest: ralph.jpgralphgroup.jpg
If you threw a pair of the peg-style FTC gloves on that I'd assume it was a factory figure. Great eye on your recipe.
Thanks! I deliberately went with the old style gloves for a Mego look, but, aside from the belt, it is something FTC could easily put together (though I'd hope for a new head if and when they do Mr. Dibny).
I'm with you on both. I love the peg gloves for my 66 Batman, but I just can't do it when it comes to my other stuff. I usually go with Green Goblin style.

I'd love to see a picture of your, "Make 'em more like Mego," redone figures. I can see Firestorm and Dr. Fate's boots in the background.
I find myself replacing parts on a lot of the FTC DC figures I've gotten of late if I plan to put them in with the FTC repros of the originals. I tend to remove the molded, plug-in boots and gloves and replace them with Mego repro parts. I took a pair of red Conan boots and painted the cuffs yellow. then added an old fashioned
