ebay issue

So, I bought a record from Germany. New German shipping laws insist upon my email and phone number.

Trouble is, Ebay will suspend your account if you give those out. What the heck do i do? I want that record but I also want to keep my account.

Wait. On second thought, maybe I do have useful information. Shouldn't your phone number and email be on record with eBay? If so can't you give permission through eBay to share that information? I would think that in the sale it is shared. Several pieces of information but even has on me aren't public, but when someone buys , they get my full name and address

Ah, I remember the old days when you could email other ebay members even if you weren't involved in a transaction with them. However, that led to the occasional creepy, stalkerish email from a stranger about something you bought.
