Why I bought four Invisible Men

Thanks to Micronauts, I love clear toys, so I was thrilled when they announced The Invisible Man.

Here's what I've done with four of them. Original Time Traveler colors (or close enough). I was going to do white hands and feet and silver heads, but decided I like this better, evoking the Henshin Cyborg line that inspired Microman (and thus Micronauts) to begin with.

Second pic is the makeshift spray booth/jig I made do to this.

Nice job! The orange one could make a cool "Human Torch" custom.

Those look so great! I love the idea of going Microman style with them. Maybe I should do that with my Henshin Cyborg (and then call him "Miniman"). To do it properly, though, I'd really want to vac-metalize the head, so I'd probably have to find a place I could send it for that.

I figured someone would make these into Micronauts, but I had no idea they could be tinted that nicely. They look great!

I was going to ask that, thanks for asking PNGwynne and thanks for the info Treadwell. That looks awesome, and look forward to seeing what you end up doing with these.

I take it this one holds together better than when EMCE did there last clear body, the poor thing keep breaking apart.

Your redos did turn out great looking!!

Thank you--I was curious to see what paints worked on both vinyl and styrene.

I must say the blue and the yellow are still a little tacky on the heads. Normally I would solve that with clear coat but I'm afraid of it clouding. Might cure on its own over time, will update.

I re-positioned joints between coats to get full coverage, but expected it would scrape off immediately the first time a joint was moved. But so far it hasn't!

The left elbows are already pretty loose on these figures so a little extra paint in the seam is actually a boon.
