You know, I avoided this thread for a couple of days because I feared it would be filled with lots of pics of Shatner with a bare midriff, but it turns out it's a cool content instead. Thanks to Palitoy for doing this. May he live long and prosper. A word of wisdom though, avoid doing a google image search for belly shirt for men...it's not somewhere you want to boldly go... (or to go boldly for those who insist on correct grammar and want to avoid the split infinitive)

I was afraid to look to but great contest. I loved my MEGO Kirk when I was a kid that all parents had left of him when I was looking around for him was a worn down head.

Thank goodness for the animated Star Trek series. We may never have had the same great childhood memories of playing with the bridge crew and various aliens on the Mego Enterprise playset. Great likenesses and lots of fond memories for me with the transporter and various viewscreens. I still have all my Trek Megos from when I was a young child, and I suspect Mego, and Rachel Baker is developing great figures with their replicators as we speak. I cannot wait to see what's coming next for our intreprid 8" and 14" heroes. Long live Star Trek!
I post in thy general direction!

I believe Star Trek was the first Mego figures I purchased. I remember seeing the boxed superhero's at A-Mart and was amazed by them tho sitting on the counter top.
