    Charlies Angels - corrected

I bought the 3 Mego 2018 Charlies Angels figures, even though the head sculpts made no attempt to resemble the actresses. Then after getting the Farah figure in 2019, I felt they displayed even worse since the Farah sculpt was pretty good. Finally I decided to go on Ebay and buy some Hasbro Angels so I could switch the heads. I think they display much better. I know the heads are slightly large for the Mego bodies, but after years of buying Figures Inc I'm used to that.
Sorry if a few of the pics display sideways, I have not uploaded pics on the Museum in a while.

I started to do that but did not take a pic with them inside there package. They do look like FTC/old Mego big noggin figures so it works. Great job and great idea.

They look much better with those heads even though they are a bit larger... Their original generic heads really detract from buying these figures...

can't those be shrunk with Naptha or will it screw up the hair?

They look really good! The slightly larger heads don't actually bother me, because the likenesses are there, and they kinda look in scale with Farrah anyway.

I can't say whether they would shrink, but it does not seem to screw up the hair (at least out of the 3 rooted hair figures I have tried it on). I would be a little gun shy since these are vintage heads, but it probably wouldn't hurt to give it a try.

That is a huge improvement. I have little interest in a lot of the modern Mego figures because of the generic sculpts. A decent likeness far overrides the larger head.

These look fantastic! I've actually been tempted to hunt down the Hasbro Angels, since Mego did such a poor job with the new ones...& I'd love a good CA collection.

Lovely job, but I can't decide which makes me sadder, that Mego didn't do good heads or that you are so used to FTC big heads.

If I recall correctly, Austin shrunk a Kelly head for a Scarlet Witch custom a few years back and it turned out great with no damage to the hair. I don't recall if he used Naptha or Acetone. I used Acetone some months back to shrink a Sabrina head and it turned out great. Hard as a rock and I had removed the hair but it looks like it was created for Mego.

I have used Acetone, mostly for 9 inch trek playmates heads, and famous covers (remember them!), but mostly male heads, not female heads with rooted hair. The female FC heads wit rooted hair shrunk fairly well, but they were brand new. I would like to shrink these Hasbro heads, but am worried of damaging 40 year old heads. maybe if I ever get some beat up angel figures I will try shrinking them and see how well it works. Then, if successful, I will try these acetone on these heads.

Acetone might make the heads with holes for hair fall apart.
