Svengoolie presents: House of Wax

This Saturday 3-30-19 Svengoolie will be showing the 1953 House of Wax staring Vincent Price as Prof. Henry Jarrod:

Professor Henry Jarrod is a true artist whose wax sculptures are lifelike. He specializes in historical tableau's such a Marie Antoinette or Joan of Arc. His business partner, Matthew Burke, needs some of his investment returned to him and pushes Jarrod to have more lurid exposes like a chamber of horrors. When Jarrod refuses, Burke set the place alight destroying all of his beautiful work in the hope of claiming the insurance. Jarrod is believed to have died in the fire but he unexpectedly reappears some 18 months later when he opens a new exhibit. This time, his displays focus on the macabre but he has yet to reproduce his most cherished work, Marie Antoinette. When he meets his new assistant's beautiful friend, Sue Allen, he knows he's found the perfect model - only unbeknown to anyone, he has a very particular way of making his wax creations.

So being 'humpday' it is time so showcase my latest ReMego Svengoolie custom:

Prof. Henry Jarrod was made from Batman '66 Egghead's head modified to match the Prof. Henry Jarrod and the Vigilante

Before Sat I want to do the masked vigilante version but I do not know if it will work. Prof. Henry Jarrod was created by using everything that was on the CTVT site. I do not like the long leather trenchcoat, as soon as I started to put in on it began to peel apart. I do not suggest the CTVT wheelchair it was made for wrestlers, should have order it from LaserMego

great rework of the Egg"head"

Thanks. Turning Egghead back into Vincent Price to then turn him into Prof. Henry Jarrod took few days. First I had to cut off the top part of his head then fill in the head so I could reform his head and then let dry. Next to add hair and then paint. I did this twice so I could do the 'nightcrawler' version. Adding scars I used Distinctive Dummies version as a guide.

Redux: Svengoolie presents House of Wax

This Saturday Svengoolie is rerunning Vincent Price House of Wax. I updated the Svengoolie set with the mini-comics of Vincent Price by Blue Water Comics:
