I’m not going to hate on that rare Latino cast Hollywood movie...there are so many other worst movie I can think off.

Dora, like cartoon has NEVER been made in to a movie before.

I’m not a fan of Dora, but a segment of the population would appreciate it.

Coco was a pretty damn good movie...

That's now starting to get an appreciation as some sort of masterpiece. I kid you not, people think he was making a statement with that film, like a huge prank.

I don't really see the big deal about a Dora movie other than the timing seems off. The Disney live-action adaptations at least seemed timed to hit the nostalgia buttons of the now grown-up children (now parents themselves) but both my kids grew up on Dora and they're teenagers who obviously, aren't into it. Maybe I'm missing something.

One movie i'd like to see remade is The Final Countdown.

I want to see the USS Gerald R. Ford at the center of it.

I also want to see more Japanese/American engagements.

Maybe go all out and even change the war …

At the end they go back to modern times and find out they totally screwed up history leaving room for The Final FINAL Countown: Electric Boogaloo

I think Nickelodeon would have been better off going the TV movie route like they did with the Fairly Odd Parents movie.

That could be fun! I saw that at the theater and have a DVD copy of it as well.

Brandwise Dora is about ten times bigger than FOP, I was a Nickelodeon licensee in the mid 2000s, Dora and SpongeBob were just absolute juggernauts. I had SpongeBob but was refused Dora. Begged to take FoP and although I enjoyed the series, I didn't.

I saw the Dora trailer before Shazam! this afternoon--seems harmless adventure, I can picture it doing well enough.
