I absolutely love the first season. The second season was okay...hated the abusive Sheriff/Eleven cabin storyline...and didn’t like Eleven venturing into the city streets with that gang...that was so un-Stranger Things to me.

    Trailer looks good though...

Season 1 was so great, but season 2 smacks of having to make more with no idea where to go with the story and was pretty bad. I’ll probably check out 3, but I don’t have hopes of it being worth bothering.

I kind of hoped Stranger Things would be an anthology series kind of like American Horror Story with second season being another 80s style story with all new cast or something.
Expectation is the death of discovery.

i liked S2. it wasn't new anymore so some of the excitement from S1 wore off but I thought it was still a solid season

I binge-watched the two seasons back to back, and saw no dip in quality myself. The "Eleven and the Outsiders" episode gets a lot of flack, but I didnt' mind it. It did read like a pilot for another TV show, though. Stranger Things' "Assignment: Earth".

Season 3 is a must watch for our family. Cindy is threatening to cancel our annual 4th of July cookout to binge it!

I liked 3 much better than 2. I'm curious to see where the direction will go after this. After all were 1985 now and there's still lots more 80's goodness.

Having too much fun with this. Up to Episode 5, and it's a joy to watch. They struck gold with the cast of kids, and it's a beautifully shot, colorful show to drink in. With all the 80s retro tributes on the scene now, I think Stranger Things was among the first, and certainly the finest.

Cool season. They definitely upped the gore and action ante for this one.

Great season so far. I have 2 episodes left.

This is the second nostalgia show that has got Corey Hart's Never Surrender song stuck in my head. The other was Future Man.

                          Agreed 1000%.

Loved season 1. Season 2 was meh. Season 3 is back to its season one glory.

                            Just finished.

                            Wow!!!!! Soooo, so good!

This was maybe my favorite thing all year. The story MOVES, and the finale does not disappoint. The hype is worth it. It's like a big epic 8 hour movie, but with no boring parts. This was the best season, with the best character interactions, humor, and the best monster yet. My highest recommendation.

They are saying one, possibly two more seasons. As much as I love it, I vote for one more. I don't want the show to wear out its welcome (I'm looking at you, Walking Dead), and the Kids will age out soon.

I'm halfway through watching Season 3 for the second time. Something that I didn't put together until I watched one of the episodes again is that The Duffer Bros. must be big fans of "FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH" since there are several references to the movie throughout the season and even a bit of an homage as Steve "The Hair" Harrington ditched his "Scoops Ahoy" sailor hat ala Brad Hamilton casting aside his pirate hat because it was making him look foolish. It's all these little touches that make me love STRANGER THINGS so much....
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.
