Batman! FTC, Mego & Parkdale Lineups

    Batman! FTC, Mego & Parkdale Lineups

    I thought Mego Buzz would be the best place to show these. I am using Parkdale to differentiate the new Mego from the old. Sadly, I do not have the Magnetic Batman.

    I am not a big fan of the new FTC Removable Cowl Batman and I post about it in this Figures Toy Company forum thread.

    But that made me want to pull out my 12.5" Parkdale Batman:

    ...which made me want to see the 12" RC Batman next to my 14" Mego Batman:

      I love the Parkdale sculpt. I'm mystified as to why FTC isn't resizing Mego's larger sculpts for 8"

      You have a nice collection.
      WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

          I am a huge fan of those Parkdale sculpts, I understand why FTC didn't reproduce them after speaking to folks here about their expectations but I would have loved an extrapolation on that concept.

              Parkdale Batman looks awesome. Kind of looks like the Super Friends Batman.

                  In Pic #3 - If you randomly asked people which one was $49.99 and which one was $19.99 you might be surprised with the results.

                  Here's hoping FTC looses the 8 inch DC License soon.

                          3 out of 4 isn’t bad. That FTC Batman doesn’t look good at all, to me.

                                  You are welcome! I find it informative for myself too.

                                  I wish I pulled the cape back on the 14” Mego Batman so you could see his arms and “gloves”.
