First of all, I first saw NIN in concert in 1995 during the Downward Spiral tour (with openers Marilyn Manson and the Jim Rose Circus), there were PLENTY of girls there, and many were even attractive, and they were having as good a time as the men in the audience. So I call BS on the whole "cute girls didn't wear NIN shirts in the 90's".

I've never met your sister, but she is now officially cool in my book!

Took the family to see this today and we all loved it. My nine year old daughter was so excited to see this and she was not disappointed. It's wonderful that she can see a film with such a strong female role model like this. She liked the other Marvel films, but for the first time I feel she is fully on board with all of this superhero stuff, I'm thrilled to see that.

Carol Danvers has been a very sad and devoid character for decades.

David Michelline gave her perhaps her greatest role, which No ONE seems to wanna talk about as the WIDOW MARCUS (Avengers # 197-200)
Her greatest role was to be used by some time hoping creep? There is a reason tis is never talked about anymore.

Gotta love a thread that goes from "they better not shove identity politics down my throat" on page 1 to "hot chicks don't wear NiN shirts" on page 2.

This is why I love the MM!
Of all the souls I have encountered his was the most...human.

The movie lost all credibility when they identified her mustang as a 65 when it was clearly a 66. Geesh!!

            Wait a minute!!!!

A first generation Pony is featured as Danvers’ ride???

Oh, that automatically makes this my all time favorite superhero movie ever, and have not even seen it yet...

Saw it tonight. Good. Not great. Loved the "cat". Didn't like Jude Law. I saw Jude Law, not the character. Once she flew, effects were too cartoony.

I like the 90's setting. I bought Radio Shack stock a couple years before they went bankrupt. Not a great investment.

I’m really late to the game...but just finished watching Captain Marvel with my sister...and we both had a great time watching it...a fun ride. Really impressed by her powers. Brie Larson was really good. The only only gripe...the Kree/Skull thingie, you know, ha...

Just watched it and didn’t expect to like it as she rubbed me the wrong way in End Game but yeah, it was a good little movie. The cat was funny.
