I didn't realize his setting was changed to Philadelphia a while back. That's fun, as I live there, and New York can only be blown up so many times.

Man oh man, I love the tone of that movie: F-U-N!

this movie looks like a lot of fun. it's looks like what all of the DC movies should have been and were lacking (other than Aquaman)

Wonder Woman was fun too...that one is considered the first DC movie that started the non-darkness change.

Yes, this looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun, similar in tone, perhaps, to some of the 30s and 40s serials, but with, of course, modern day conveniences and twists. Looks like they’ve retained JUST enough of the important cheese factor to keep it entertaining without dipping into utter parody.
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I am very excited for this. That leap tall building bit was hilarious.

Cool to hear. My kids have zero knowledge of the character (other than seeing my Mego Shazam sitting on a shelf in my office since they were born) and still want to see this film based on the trailers.

Being related to me both my children got a heavy dosage of Shazam and are pretty familiar with him. Neither warmed to the Filmation live action show though.
