Mego Fashion Outfit Mystery… with an Ape Twist!

I recently procured an interesting 1/6 scale vintage fashion outfit (hat/purse/coat/shirt/pants) that is entirely tagged Mego. While Zira is an Ape City fashionista (hobnobbing with Maestros and Revolutionaries today), what caught my eye was the use of the debossed vinyl on the coat and hat that is used on General Ursus's 8" tunic collar.

Has the Museum identified this outfit before? My inclination was Maddie Mod, but after spending days of searching (only finding Little Swinger Pulsar Cheerleading outfits – you're welcome Hammer!:P) I've yet to find any proof. The under lying white cotton shirt/pants may not be original to the rest, but they are tagged Mego too. Any intel is most appreciated.

Yeah, there are some really fun fabric cross overs in the fashion doll stuff. There is also a jacket made of the same material as Tarzan's loin cloth.

Funny thread, but those other figures are striking. Are these your concepts of clothing for them, or bought that way?

^^ Apethoven and Rebel Ape are SSUR (https://www.ssur.com/pages/about-us) art toy designs… as you can guess, he's a big Apes-fan (even sells Mego in his shop) paying homage in a multitude of ways since a 90's fashion line.

SS Zira is sporting a vintage wild green mod get up that came out of the UK; likely one of a multitude of Barbie/Mod-doll knock-off outfits produced. Fits her like a glove, is really well made, and makes me think of the good Dr.'s wardrobe on her days off outside of the Ape City Hospital.

I haven't made a 1/6 female gorilla yet, but the new Mego outfit is compelling.

These pics sort of remind me when Zira was dressed up in Escape from the Planet of the Apes, different fashion clothes.
Love the pics, funny and cool at the same time.
