Thank you for the kind words gentlemen. I am humbled.

With the following photos, I will attempt to convey the level of detail I put into the Custom BATSIGNAL.

I attempted to JAM PACK my 9Art Custom 1:9 scale BATSIGNAL Searchlight with LOADS scratch-built and kit-bashed details!

The GCPD warning sign post, and the inline 6 cylinder power generator and trailer were scratch built, painted, and detail weathered as accessories to the BATSIGNAL

The tread plate on the base platforms is actually photo-etched and fabricated in real nickel metal sheet!

The large removable rear dome houses the BATSIGNAL’S built-in Rechargeable battery pack!

I built a recharge port discreetly on the underside of the searchlight’s main reflector. With a simple AC adapter, the BATSIGNAL plugs into any standard 110v wall outlet to recharge the built-in battery pack. When fully charged, the searchlight's ultra bright LED array is good for 15 hours of continuous operation!

Of course, as property of the Gotham City Police, the searchlight features the Department’s crest medallion prominently emblazoned on the center of the rear dome!

The three power-feed conduit lines are detailed with real metal lead contacts!

The Carbon Arc Control Box is very accurately detailed. But it also features a removable face panel to access the BATSIGNAL’S activation switch!

I fabricated the BATSIGNAL’S Bat logo face plate to be removable for easy cleaning. It is fabricated out of 1/8” thick plexiglass sheet which has been laser cut from a digital file I created. I constructed the Bat Symbol to be held in place on the searchlight’s clear face with a system of three magnets.

Oh My Gosh, this work just gets better and better. Just when I think I have been the most amazed, new details spring me forward beyond my last amazement. I'm always very taken with darklord1967's masterpieces.

Are you kidding me? Just some amazing features put into this, a work of beauty.

I also think 66 Chief O'Hara would look good next to the bat signal.

Thank you so much for the very kind words gentlemen. You honor me beyond my accomplishments! Your friendship, support, and (in some cases) even services contributions, have served to make my work a 3 dimensional reality on more occasions than I can possibly count!

Actually, you might want to check out the custom ‘66 Batman props work by a Museum member by the name of “Tmmello” (I believe it is). He makes (hands down) the most accurate 1:9 scaled ‘66 Batsignal to pose FTC Chief O’Hara in front of!

My Custom BATSIGNAL would probably look more appropriate in a setting (and around characters) that are based on the so -called “Bronze Age” (early 1970’s - mid 1990’s) of Batman comic books. 😊
