My latest painting WIP...the Mummy's Curse

Good old Lon Jr. as Kharis...8x10 acrylics on paper. I'm trying out a new technique. The painting is done entirely in layers of washes, building up the tones.

When the black & white painting is done I may go over the entire thing with transparent colors.

So awesome. I doubt we can appreciate the subtlety that goes into layering on black and white paints.
