Yes! Finally. I may have to collect SW again. Please be classic trilogy only.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I hope they reissue the original figures. The meltdowns from the MOC psychos would be something to see.

If the figures are what I am hoping them to be, I am all in! I'd buy some of the vehicles, too, if they decide to make those.

Hoping for prototype releases as well. Telescope sabers, vinyl cape jawas, Blue Snaggletooth.

I would love that too. I'd also love reissues and unreleased figures like Tarkin and Han Stormtrooper. But I am trying to be cautious about being too optimistic.

This is my fear: Good news Hasbro is going to make retro Star Wars figures. The bad news it's all prequel figures. First figures are Jar Jar, Ric Olie and Galactic Senators.

A Hasbro reproduction of the double telescoping saber figures would be pretty interesting to see, tho it would definitely muddy up the collecting world for the hardcore originals purist. I enjoyed the Walmart 'mail away' repro that was done many years ago with a modernish Luke with a telescoping blue saber. Thinking of that figure and of the various, more screen accurate late issue figures from 1985, I think there is a bit of leeway for what Hasbro could call a 5 point retro figure. It would be a kick to see some of the wavy legged cloaked sort of figures ala Kenobi, or Bib Fortuna.

In 1995, in the POTF2 line, they released a four pack of Kenner figures (Han, Chewie, Luke and Vader) made from casts of vintage figures. Or are you talking about the Rocket firing Boba Fett mail in from 2010?

I love hate that this is happening. And just when I am musing about cashing out on new collectibles.

Could be interesting, maybe they can fill a few holes like a slave leia.
